Antonio Rey’s original (pre-fire) the2Micpro finally came in need of repair, and Ken Donnel answered the need by presenting Antonio with a “warranty replacement” in the form of a new prototype the2Micpro (post-fire) at the 2024 LA Guitar Festival. Antonio immediately installed this new the2Micpro on his guitar, did a quick sound check, and played an amazing concert. Antonio used his the2Micpro to pull an amazing array of tonalities from his guitar. The most subtle nuance was spread across the concert hall for everyone to hear clearly.
On stage, Antonio praised his new the2Micpro over and over again, finally saying…” I love this 2Mic, and I believe Paco de Lucia and Sabicas would have loved it too.”
